Calm & Confident Labor Session

I've created a private in home session for expectant moms and their partners who want to feel truly prepared before labor begins. This hands‑on session offers a calm, encouraging space to practice the coping techniques that help labor feel more manageable and less intimidating. Perfect for parents who aren’t planning to work with a labor doula but would still like to learn the proven comfort measures, coping strategies, and support techniques doulas use. This session teaches you how to bring those skills into your own birth experience.

During your session, you’ll ease into guided breathing, relaxation, and visualization exercises that help you feel grounded and supported. You’ll explore labor positions that bring comfort and encourage progress, all while tuning into your body and connecting with your partner in a meaningful, confidence‑building way as birth approaches... This session is offered exclusively at 36 weeks pregnant, ensuring families receive hands‑on practice at the stage when labor preparation is most effective and meaningful.

What You’ll Practice

  • Coping Techniques — Gentle, guided practice with breathing rhythms, relaxation strategies, and visualization that help you stay centered during contractions.
  • Labor Positions — Hands‑on exploration of positions that ease discomfort, encourage progress, and help you feel grounded and supported.
  • Managing Anxiety & Pain — Practical tools to reduce tension, calm the mind, and build emotional readiness for the big day.
  • Partner Support — Clear, simple ways partners can offer comfort, encouragement, and physical support throughout labor.
  • Technique Notebook — A take‑home notebook containing all the techniques practiced during the session.
  • Lactation Questions — Some lactation questions can be answered during your session as well. If you need more in‑depth support once baby arrives, additional postpartum lactation consultations can be scheduled separately.
